Profile of Dr M W (Mark) Dawson
Mark is a Senior Partner in DMG Microlabs and is also the Laboratory Manager. He has a PhD in Biotechnology, MSc (Hons) and BSc in Microbiology, and is a professional member of the Australian Institute of Food Science and Technology and of the Australian Society for Microbiology. Mark is also an accredited NATA assessor in the field of biological testing.
Mark has over 20 years experience in industrial research and consulting, covering the food, water, environmental, pharmaceutical and indoor air quality areas. He has been a contract lecturer in industrial microbiology at third year and post graduate levels at Massey University in New Zealand. Technical and consulting experience has been gained in food safety, food microbiology testing, vaccine production research and development at a multinational biotechnology company, and commodity (raw sugar) production research and development.
Mark has developed several food microbiology testing methods, one of which has been published in the technical literature and has been NATA accredited. Mark has also managed and conducted some major programs in airborne monitoring of both indoor and outdoor environments, during which he has developed and published two novel test methods.
Mark is also sought after as an invited speaker to technical conferences in his areas of expertise, and has published over 50 articles in various technical journals and publications.
Profile of William (Bill) Greene
Bill has a relatively unique blend of Technical, Educational, Development and Management skills, with over 30 years of direct Sales / Management / Marketing and Technical experience.
These skills were obtained through professional training, both in-house and through the Australian Institute of Management and the Australian Graduate School of Management (University of NSW). Bill holds a Business Degree Majoring in Marketing, a Diploma of Medical Technology and Chemistry and is both an Associate Fellow of the Australian Sales Institute and a member of the Australian Institute of Management, together with hands-on experience gained through management and training (Consulting) of Sales and Production/Technical Teams, both internal and external in small businesses to multinational companies.
Technical experience has been gained through working with numerous companies in the fields of Industrial Chemistry, Medical Technology, Health Information via IT and Manufacturing Industries (Technical Services). Bill has also Quality Management Systems Audit/Lead Auditor training.
Bill’s superior written and verbal communication skills have been developed as a result of preparing and presenting sales / marketing / presentations and the development and implementation of Personal Development Programs through Rostrum Australia.
Bill has applied his technical and marketing skills working with a wide range of organizations from SME’s to multinationals in problem-solving and development roles to improve their corporate performance.
