DMG MicroLabs has significant links to leading tertiary education institutions. Dr Mark Dawson has co-supervised a PhD student at the University of Queensland Department of Microbiology and CRC for Wastewater Management.
Mark taught Food Microbiology at Queensland University of Technology in 2003. Mark also worked at the Sugar Research Institute in Mackay from 1988 to 1998. He maintained his links with the Institute after leaving and this enhanced his relationship with the University when the bulk of the Institute became part of the Queensland University of Technology after it was purchased by the University in 2005.
